Calling all creative young minds! Phipps is seeking youth ages 12 to 24 to design sustainable outfits for our Youth Sustainable Fashion Show. Outfits can be made from any variety of materials, from repurposed fabrics to glamorized grocery bags to literal trash! We welcome simple or elaborate designs, creative and unusual themes, bizarre and bold fashion choices, and any other aesthetics that suit you. Let your eco-fashion shine bright!
The fashion show is the grand finale of our Youth Eco-Action Showcase on Mon., April 17. Designers and models must be there at 6 p.m. to get ready and the fashion show will begin at 7 p.m. Designers and models must also attend the rehearsal on Tues., April 11 at 6 p.m. in the Special Events Hall at Phipps Conservatory in order to participate.
