Objective: To be able to learn the many techniques for correcting colored pencil mistakes
Prerequisite: Botanical Drawing I & II, Colored Pencil I

Colored pencil is a forgiving medium, but accidents and missteps – unintentional impressed lines, stray marks and smears, too much color to permit further color layering, damage to the paper surface, spilled drinks or food, etc. – can still produce unwanted results that can be a challenge to correct, and, if they occur when a drawing is nearly finished, be devastating to the artist. In this class Amy will demonstrate ways to correct common problems and also invites students to bring samples of their own for discussion and demo. Botanical Art and Illustration Certificate elective
